Netflix Bridgerton Season 3 Release Date, Cast and More Updates

Netflix’s period drama, Bridgerton, has caught the attention of fans of dramas, romances, and period stories worldwide. The show is set in the aristocracy of London between the 18th and 19th centuries. It is based on the eponymous book series, authored by Julia Quinn.

The show was released on Netflix in 2020, and within no time, it became the most-watched Netflix show. Not only that, it remains to date the second-most viewed series on the platform!

All that is impressive, and expectedly, the show was renewed for a second season in January of 2021. The second season will release soon on Netflix, on the 25th of March. Not only that, the show has additionally been renewed for two more seasons.

Bridgerton Season 3 Trailer

We haven’t even received season two, so expecting a trailer for season 3 is too greedy. We must remain patient and wait for the first official announcement of the third season, as that is when we can expect a trailer to drop as well.

Expect Bridgerton Season 3 to be somewhere around the end of 2022 or the first few months of 2023.

Bridgerton Season 3 Storyline

However, the show is set in aristocratic London in an alternate timeline, where London is shown to be a racially diverse city. The creator was inspired by the queen’s ancestry theories and decided to run with it.

The story deals with the elite class of London, their daily lives, struggles, love, rivalries, and many other things that they deal with daily.

Bridgerton Season 3 Premiere Date

As stated before, we can only speculate that the Bridgerton Season 3 will release sometime in early 2023. This is because we haven’t received the second season yet, and only after that will we receive any update regarding the third season. As production runs for 7-8 months, we can expect updates regarding this in the latter half of 2022 or the early months of 2023.

The Conclusion

If the producers and showrunners want to maintain Bridgerton’s reputation as the second most-watched Netflix original series, they would have to deliver in the second, third, and fourth seasons.

Although the concept is interesting, we need to see how they build on it in the coming seasons. Still, Netflix should have some faith in this, as they have already accepted it to be renewed for the third and fourth seasons.
