Critics Choice Awards 2022 Winners

The most amazing Critics Choice awards 2022 is finally ended. Nicole Byer and Taye Diggs Hosted this event successfully and it was broadcasted live on TBS and CW.

The weekend especially Sunday was a busy day of awards with the Annie awards and DGA awards held Saturday night. On the other hand, BAFTA awards were also presented in London city the previous Sunday. In Austin, Texas the SXSW festival is also running successfully.

This time the most awaited Critics Choice award event was held in London as well as Los angles, as CCA (critics’ choice association) included the satellite location to comprise nominees who also be present in BAFTAs. This special event was held in Los angles at the Fairmont Century PLAZA Hotel on the other hand for London it was held at the Savoy Hotel.

This special event allows several actors who normally give reception speeches had the chance to do it again. Legendary actors like Will Smith, Troy Kotsur, and Ariana Debose successfully achieved their second award of the day, who already won similar categories at the BAFTA awards in London. For the Power of the Dog, Jane Campion won another award which grabbed the best picture award as well. On the other hand, when it comes to TV side, Ted Lasso’s Hannah Waddingham and Brett Goldstein repetitive their winning from last fall’s Emmys, while Jennifer Coolidge and Murray Bartlett confirmed uncertainties that its hard to beat them in limited series of this year’s Emmy Awards.

The big surprise was Kieran Culkin won the best supporting actor award in a drama where his co-stars Melanie Lynskey, Nicholas Braun and Matthew Macfadyen won their first-ever award of Critics choice Award 2022 for Winter breakout Yellowjackets as best actress in a drama series.

Jessica Chastain was the front runner as the leading actress race since her SAG awards win before two weeks, she was absent and did not receive the award last night.

Jude Hill won the young actor award, and instantly after the whole Belfast cast won the best acting collaborative award. When it comes to best original screenplay prize, writer-director Kenneth Branagh won the award for his exceptional work.
