Loki Season 2 Plot

This season will continue Loki’s story and explore the MCU Multiverse deeper. If you are a marvel comic lover and follow comic timelines, you may predict some key events of Loki Season 2, but for those who aren’t familiar with the comics, let’s dive deeper into the plot.

At the end of Season 1, when Loki and Silvie arrive at Kang’s (He Who Remains) castle, he tells them his story and briefs that nothing exists with its ‘free will’ and every event and action in the universe is preplanned by him. He knows everything, past, present, future, and has written everyone’s destiny.

Kang (He Who Remains), whose real name is Nathaniel Richards, is a scientist from the 30th century who discovers more than one parallel universe in parallel dimensions and somehow invents a way to travel between them. He started to meet his other variant in different universes. But eventually, he realized that he was meeting his variants in different universes, but their personalities were way different than his.

After some years, some variants want to conquer all the universes, eventually starting a Multiversal War. This war was won by Kang The Conqueror (Evil Variant), but to stop his evil variants causing this destruction, Nathaniel Richards merges all the universes into one timeline. This is the Sacred Timeline which finds a way to channel the energy across the multiverse and creates a monster named Alioth to guard it, finally ending the Multiversal War and becoming Kang (He Who Remains).

He then creates TVA for proning all the branch timelines formed by nexus events and writes down the entire destiny of every being of the Sacred Timeline and TVA.

Loki was destined to be born as a boy, and Silvie’s birth created a Nexus Event (any event that branches out to a new timeline) that TVA probed. Still, Silvie escaped from their captivity and vowed to kill the man responsible for what happened to her. After hearing He Who Remains’ entire story, Loki believes him, but Silvie disagrees in her rage.

Silvie steps in to kill He Who Remains, but Loki interrupts, and the two have a fight. Silvie sends Loki back to TVA using a Time Door. He Who Remains confesses to Silvie that he knew what would happen only till that exact moment, and if even she kills him, he will eventually end up at the same place. But Silvie disagrees and stabs him in his chest.

The Conclusion

When Silvie stabbed Kang (He Who Remains), his last words were, ”See you soon,” which justifies that his story was true and Slive has made a big mistake. Soon after Silvie stabs He Who Remains, we see the sacred timeline opening to different realities and universes, ultimately forming the Multiverse in MCU. Season 2 will again witness the same multiversal war that He Who Remains told, and Kang(any of the variants) will eventually end up again at his place.

When Silvie stabbed He Who Remains, this opened the doors of multiple universes. Now all Kang’s variants will fight to conquer all the universes, and the Multiversal Wall will again occur. Fans and Producers both are very excited about the thai project, and Loki Season 2 is one of the most-awaited and anticipated Marvel series of all time. Antman Quantumania will drop some easter eggs for this series.
