Overview of Previous Seasons

Manifest is a show that is pretty great, engaging, and unique because of its narrative. In the previous seasons, flight Montego Air Flight 828 experienced extreme turbulence for an unbelievable time of 5 years while flying from Jamaica to New York City.

When the plane finally lands at Stewart International Airport in Newburgh, New York, the flight’s all 191 passengers and crew members get to know from NSA deputy director Robert Vance that all of them were in the air for almost five and a half years. Everyone, including the family members of the passengers and the crew, assumed that the plane got crashed or had some accident and everyone on the plane was dead.

After landing, when people on the plane go back to their families and everyday lives, they realize that nothing has remained the same as before. Their lives and of their loved ones have changed completely. Moreover, after having been through such an unexpectedly terrible incident, all of them started seeing glimpses of the future and hearing guiding voices which they refer to as ‘callings,’ as if they got some superpowers.
