Oscars 2022 Winners ( 94th academy awards 2022 )

The long wait is finally over because the 94th Academy Awards (Oscars) were held on Sunday. The highest honor of movie awards again went for an underdog small-scale drama movie which is none other than “CODA”. Dune movie won the highest number of awards in six different categories including product design and cinematography section.

Jane Campion won the best director award and directed the most lovable movie of the year The Power of the Dog. This movie was the most nominated movie on Oscar 2022. The victory of Campion was crucial for Oscar History. The best part of the Oscar 2022 was this time the best director Oscar award has gone to women twice consecutively. Previous year Chloe Zhao won the best director award for “Nomadland” Campion already created history for being the first-ever woman as the best director award winner twice.

Will Smith won the 94th academy awards 2022 winners as best actor for the movie King Richard. In the Oscars 2022 winners, Jessica Chastain achieved the best actress award for the movie “The Eyes of Tammy Faye”. The best-supporting actress won by Ariana DeBose for the movie West Side Story. From the movie coda Troy Kotsur on the best supporting actor.
