The Owl House Season 3 Trailer

The official season 3 trailer is yet to be dropped to the viewers. But here’s a shortcut link from Disney Channel’s upload on YouTube for the trailer of The Owl House Season 2 for you all. Enjoy!

The Owl House Season 3 Storyline

The first season is all about how Luz, a self-confident teenager, stumbles into the magical world of the witches, king, emperor, and minions. She becomes the evil Eda’s assistant and is given a task before she can return to the human world. Her journey to fulfill her mysterious scavenger hunt to freedom is where the season ends.

The second season picks up from there and portrays how all the main good people in the show help Luz return safely to the human realm. Luz has made many new friends and even lands herself a girlfriend, Amity, and has uncovered dark secrets of the Boiling Isles. Eda is struggling with a curse and eventually finds a way to overcome it. The King discovers magical abilities in himself.

The Owl House Season 3 Premiere Date

The premiere date is not announced officially. We need to wait some more!

The Owl House Season 3 Renewal Status

The show is in for renewal, and the second season has been split into two parts- 2A and 2B. The 2B part will be the show’s finale and will be wrapped up in just 3:44 minutes long episodes compared to the other seasons. This is speculated to be the Disney channel’s support of Florida’s ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill, which bans talking about sexual orientation and gender identity in elementary school.

The creator Dana Terrace is mad at the channel about this anti-LQBTQ move but disagrees with the above reason despite her Twitter lash-out at the channel heads. She has sadly accepted that the show is coming to an end because the show does not fit into the Disney brand anymore.

The Conclusion

It is a misfortune for the fans and makers of The Owl House as the show is being canceled even before it could soar high and stay in the game till they are satisfied with it. The makers and the showrunner seem to be at loggerheads about the continuation of the show mainly due to the representation of a lesbian lead couple and a non-binary character.

The show received a lot of praise, but only the channel can decide what to take further and drop! We genuinely hope for the best for The Owl House and wish to see more seasons in continuation. Fingers crossed!
